This active 57-year-old male presented to Dr. Kass only because his wife insisted that she was no longer willing to be in the car when he was driving. She had noticed that he no longer seemed to see the cars to the sides of him while driving. He requested surgery on his "loose skin" to help him see better.
Dr. Kass said that he would be happy to do his upper eyelids but the deep lines on his forehead imparted an angry, mean appearance and they could be softened with a forehead lift. By using an endoscopic technique, only tiny incisions on the scalp would be necessary and these would heal beautifully even on men with little hair as in this patient. The patient had the surgery on his the upper eyelids covered by his insurance, and then elected to have an endoscopic forehead lift and his lower eyelids done at the same time. As promised, the incisions were practically imperceptible, and the patient (and his wife) were ecstatic both with his improved vision and with his softer and more natural appearance.
This 69-year-old woman presented because of drooping of her right upper lid. But she also said that she was unhappy with the bags under her eyes and the deep grooves in her forehead. In one operative setting, she underwent bilateral ptosis repair of the upper eyelids, (covered by her insurance), as well as upper and lower eyelid lifts, and endoscopic forehead (eyebrow) lift procedures. She was amazed and delighted with her results.
This 73-year-old man with rheumatoid arthritis and on blood thinners stated that he had to hold his upper lids up with his fingers to see. After discussing his options with Dr. Kass, he elected to proceed with bilateral ptosis repair of his upper lids, combined with upper and lower eyelid lifts, and endoscopic forehead (eyebrow) lift procedures. Despite his male pattern baldness, the tiny incisions in his forehead healed perfectly and truly could not be seen. He was amazed by how much better he could see! And about how much better he felt about himself after his surgery.
This 51-year-old male presented for a forehead lift and for eyelid surgery. Previously, he had had a hair transplant and was most concerned if surgery could interfere with the results he had attained. He had also had upper and lower eyelid lifts (blepharoplasties), and he received Restylane and Botox injections.
After being reassured about his hair transplant, he elected to proceed with an endoscopic forehead lift and bilateral cosmetic upper and lower eyelid surgeries. The patient noted a tremendous improvement in the lines on his forehead and in those on the upper and lower eyelids. While Dr. Kass still sees him on occasion for Botox, the frequency of these visits and the amount of Botox that he needs are a fraction of what he needed before. As promised, he had no problems at all from the tiny incisions near the areas previously treated with hair transplants. He stated that he was very happy with the healing of his incisions and, best of all, with his overall excellent results. Without a doubt, he said, he would do it all over again if it became necessary. But that he would only trust Dr. Kass to do any future facial surgery because of the excellent results achieved.

This patient presented to Dr. Kass complaining of not being able to wear eye shadow, and it was making her feel like less of a lady. She had given up all hope until she found Dr. Kass. The patient wanted a more westernized look, without looking like she had extensive surgery. After several consultations with Dr. Kass, she felt that she was choosing the right doctor, one who could exceed her expectations. Dr. Kass performed an Asian Blepharoplasty procedure combined with transconjunctival “no visible incision” lower eyelid surgery. Although Dr. Kass noticed some residual asymmetry after the procedure and offered to make a minor adjustment to the lids, the patient declined this saying that she was already ecstatic with her results. She said that she couldn’t wait any longer to test out all her new eye shadow colors, and felt that she already looked like she had always wanted to!
This very pleasant 67 year old woman came in to see Dr. Kass complaining of severely drooping upper eyelids. She stated it made her feel tired all the time. The patient elected to have Dr. Kass perform a four lid blepharoplasty procedure. This patient stated that after her procedure she immediately noticed a difference, and was so glad she choose to have all 4 of her eyelids done at once. Her expectations were exceeded, and she couldn't wait to recommend Dr. Kass to all of her friends!
This 70 year old man came to see Dr. Kass, because his wife told him that he looked angry all the time. Both his eyerows and eyelids were drooping, causing him to have a "angry" demeanor. The patient felt an immediate connection with Dr. Kass, and stated that he felt the doctor understood the exact results he was looking for. After having the small incision forehead/browlift procedure combined with the four lid blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelids), he said he not only felt and looked happier, but that he noticed his demeanor had changed for the better, and it was all thanks to Dr. Kass!
This pleasant, spritely 82 year old man presented to Dr. Kass complaining of excess skin above and below his eyelids. He stated that it was constantly interfering with his vision, and that it looked like he had sagging eyes. After several consultations with other doctors, and much research, he decided to have bilateral ptosis repair and a four lid blepharoplasty with Dr. Kass. Because of the patient’s age, Dr. Kass suggested that perhaps the lower eyelids did not absolutely need to be done. But it was what the patient wanted. Once the patient was healed, he stated that he felt 10 years younger, and that his sight had improved dramatically. He was more than pleased with his results, and was going to recommend Dr. Kass to all of his friends and family, because he only wanted them to see the best doctor that he had!
This 75-year-old male with history of dry eye syndrome requested upper eyelid ptosis repair (because he noticed a drop in his peripheral vision), and cosmetic eyelid surgery. Because he was so symptomatic from his dry eyes, Dr. Kass elected to elevate his lower eyelids at the same time that he lifted the upper eyelids (and also removed skin and fat to enhance appearance). The result? His palpebral aperture measurement (how far open his eye was) remained exactly the same as before surgery and the patient noticed no change in the dryness of his eyes. But not only did he now notice remarkable improvement in his peripheral vision, he also was extremely happy with the cosmetic appearance of his eyes.
This 65-year-old woman originally came in complaining that one eye teared all of the time (epiphora). After Dr. Kass fixed this problem for her, she returned for bilateral ptosis repair of the upper eyelids, and cosmetic upper and lower eyelid lifts. Since then, she has returned to Dr. Kass for a face lift and a neck lift with suture platysmaplasty. Next, she is considering a brow lift. She returns twice yearly for Juvederm and Botox as needed.
This 65-year-old woman complained that her eyes felt extremely heavy while reading. She underwent bilateral ptosis repair of her upper eyelids, and cosmetic upper and lower eyelids lifts (not apparent in these photos, she also had face and neck lifts and a Hetter resurfacing peel all at the same time). The patient stated that she would do this surgery again in a heartbeat! She stated that it took 20 years off of her appearance. And she was right!

This very sweet 62 year old woman came to Dr. Kass from a 1 ½ hour drive away because she felt that her eyes were drooping, uneven, and causing her to look and feel much older than she was. During her consultation, she said that she had not done much research on who to have this particular procedure done by, but that Dr. Kass' bedside manner and credentials alone had more than surpassed her expectations, and that one consultation was enough for her. On the very same day she met the doctor, she booked her procedure, with no doubts or worries in her decision. Once she had fully healed from her four lid blepharoplasty, the patient stated that she couldn't have hoped for any better results than what Dr. Kass had achieved for her.
A 42 year old patient came to see Dr. Kass for a consultation, complaining she felt that her eyes looked old and tired all the time. The patient had informed Dr. Kass that she had done several hours of research on him and his staff, and was very impressed with his credentials and the politeness of his staff. After deep thought and consideration, she proceeded and had a four lid blepharoplasty procedure (the lower eyelids were done through a transconjunctival “no visible incision” approach). After she healed, the patient stated that she felt younger, and looked refreshed and well rested. She also stated that she had wished she had done this procedure sooner, and was delighted with the results Dr. Kass achieved.
This 45-year-old woman presented because of sagging eyelids and her sagging neck. She had a very "high powered" job and it was almost impossible for her to take off from work. She had upper and lower eyelid lifts and a Weekend Lift procedure. Dr. Kass saw her only one time after surgery and both he and she thought her results were fabulous. At just one week, she had a markedly improved jaw line and neck, and her eyes appeared much more youthful and free of lines and wrinkles. At the one week visit, the patient said that she was absolutely thrilled with her results and that no further follow-up appointments were necessary!

This 71-year-old woman came to me complaining of her droopy upper eyelids (Ptosis). Once she realized how much more could be done to improve her appearance, she underwent medically necessary Ptosis repair of both upper eyelids, upper and lower cosmetic eyelid procedures, endoscopic forehead and midface (cheek) lifts, facelift, neck lift with suture suspension platysmaplasty, and facial resurfacing with the Hetter chemical peel procedure. She was thrilled!

This is a 71-year-old man who is working as a business consultant. He believes that his "tired" appearance may be hurting him as he loses clients to more youthful-looking competitors. He does not mind looking his age and he is not trying to look like a movie star. He wants to look more vigorous and less tired.
He was so grateful that the first person he referred to Dr. Kass after his recovery was his wife!

This 65 year old woman, about to retire, wanted to look her very best as she began the new activities of her retirement. Initially, she presented for just upper eyelid surgery. But she was so delighted with her results that, after just one week, she decided that she also wanted lower eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), festoon treatment with localized Hetter Facial Resurfacing, and bilateral midface lifts. Here she is at just a couple of months after surgery. And there will be even greater improvement as she continues to heal! She states that she is absolutely thrilled with her results. She tells us that her husband is so happy because she is so happy. She says she is constantly getting complemented about her eyes, and that now she faces her retirement activities with renewed vigor and self-confidence. In fact, she is even thinking about what she wants Dr. Kass to do next for her!
This 59-year-old woman said that other people were always asking her if she was tired. She had tried facial laser treatments from another doctor in order to look more alert and refreshed but she was not satisfied with the results of these treatments. She was particularly concerned about the "fluid bags" on both cheeks which she said made her look like her mother.
Dr. Kass suggested that the patient's biggest cosmetic problem were the large festoons, or cheek or malar bags or malar mounds that she had. He suggested his unique resurfacing festoon elimination treatment with bilateral mid face lifts, upper and lower blepharoplasties (eyelid surgery or eye lifts), and bilateral eyelid ptosis surgery.
The patient had absolutely no problems after surgery and was understandably delighted that all of her concerns could be addressed in a single procedure. Now she stated she did look refreshed and alert and had achieved exactly what she was seeking. Best of all, because of her mid face lifts, the "fluid bags" were all gone. Post surgery, she says she receives compliments about her appearance all of the time. At her last visit, the patient confided that she had begun seeing a "significantly younger" man and had not been forthcoming about her true age!
This 61-year-old woman was concerned about with the loss of definition and fullness of her cheeks, drooping of her upper eyelids and eyebrows, and excess skin and fat above and below her eyes. She underwent bilateral mid face lifts, endosopic forehead lift, ptosis repair of the upper eyelids, and upper and lower eyelid surgery. When she healed, she said that these procedures had given her appearance exactly what she had wanted. Her cheeks were fuller, rounded, and more youthful, her upper eyelids and eyebrows were lifted, and her forehead and her eyelids were smooth and wrinkle-free. She was delighted!

This very sweet 69-year-old patient came in complaining of bags, unknown as festoons, under her eyes. Although many patients, across the country, have told Dr. Kass that their plastic surgeons had said that there is nothing can be done for these unsightly bags, this is simply not true. Please look at these photos and decide for yourself! She received festoon treatment with under eye skin resurfacing using the Hetter Facial Resurfacing Procedure that Dr. Kass has perfected in 14 years of use. This patient was so very pleased with her results after this treatment, she is presently contemplating procedures with us.

This 71-year-old patient came in complaining of drooping upper eyelids. But her biggest complaint, causing her so much embarrassment and distress, and actually preventing her from ever going out with others and socializing were the huge, unsightly bags she had under her eyes. After Dr. Kass explained the unique treatment that he personally devised for festoon treatment, combined with the Hetter facial Resurfacing Procedure, she decided to proceed with these treatments and combined them with corrective bilateral ptosis surgery so that she would have only a single recuperation. Needless to say, once the patient healed, she exclaimed how thrilled she was with her results and asserted that her only wish was that she had found Dr. Kass earlier.
