This 49-year-old woman “hated” the lines
around her mouth and the thinness of her
lips. Dr. Kass performed a Hetter
resurfacing chemical peel around the mouth
and augmentation of the upper and lower lips
with implants. The result? She felt the
procedure took 15 years off of her
appearance. She was delighted and was amazed
at how natural her lips looked and felt.
Even when kissing her husband, neither could
even feel the implants, that’s how natural
they felt.

This 37-year-old woman wanted fuller lips.
She had seen other doctors and had had
breast augmentation, Obagi Blue Peel,
Restylane, and Sculptra. Although her lips
were already full, she was striving for
sensuous, voluptuous. For her, Dr. Kass
injected Juvederm to the upper and lower
lips. VOILA. Sensuous and voluptuous were
achieved!

This 46-year-old woman was unhappy with the
eyelid surgery, browlift, and chin implant
performed by another physician. For her, Dr.
Kass performed upper and lower eyelid lifts,
and a Weekend Lift procedure. She was
thrilled with her results and returns yearly
for lip augmentation with Restylane.

This 30-year-old woman requested lip
augmentation. Dr. Kass placed the Perma
Facial Implant in each lip as a minor office
procedure. The improvement was almost
immediate, and the results were perfect.
Within a week, she had achieved a fuller,
sensual, natural appearing lip augmentation.
The patient was thrilled. She says that her
boyfriend is very happy with them and is
unable to feel them even when he kisses her.
Best of all? The improvement is permanent!

This 40-year-old woman presented initially
to me for Botox injections to her forehead
and to her Crow’s feet. After two such
treatments, she confided to me that she
“hated” the dark circles under her eyes and
the thinness of her lips. She elected to
proceed with lower eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty)
with fat transposition and bilateral mid
face lifts. At the time of the procedure,
0.4 ml of Silikon 1000 was injected in each
lip using the micro-droplet technique. The
patient was delighted with the results of
her eyelid and mid face procedures and
presented six weeks later for another Botox
treatment and for additional Silikon 1000.
This time 0.35 ml of Silikon 1000 was given
to each lip. One month later, the patient
reported that she was very “happy” with her
lips. A third treatment with Silikon 1000
was done one year later, and a fourth
treatment six months after this (both using
0.35 ml to each lip). The patient confided
that she really was “very happy” after the
third treatment (and she swore to herself
that she was done) but chose to proceed with
the fourth treatment because she thought
that a little additional augmentation would
be even more attractive. This highly
satisfied patient continues to come for
Botox injections (she recently switched over
to Xeomin) and for Latisse. Every single
time she comes in she proclaims loudly that
she absolutely “loves” her lips and gets
frequent compliments about them. She
confides that she doesn’t tell anyone what
she did to make her lips so beautiful as it
is no one’s business but her own.

This 63 year old woman was referred to me by
her husband. She had previously had surgery
on her upper eyelids by another surgeon and
was requesting only surgery on her lower
eyelids, although she did allow that she
tried to hide her old appearing neck by
wearing turtle neck sweaters (even in
Florida)!. After our frank discussion and
reviewing our photographs, she elected to
proceed with a face lift, a neck lift with
liposuction, a suture platysmaplasty to
re-define and to sculpt her jaw line, mid
face (cheek) lift, upper and lower eyelids,
a Hetter resurfacing peel around her mouth
to get rid of her annoying smokers’ lines,
and a fat transfer to her lips. Needless to
say, she was ecstatic with her results!

This 56 year old woman was unhappy with her
appearance. She stressed that she did not
want to look like anyone else. She just
wanted to look like a younger version of
herself. She was very concerned about her
jaw line and her neck. In the last year
alone, she had two chemical peels by another
doctor and had not noticed any improvement.
For her, we did a Weekend Lift, endoscopic
eyebrow and forehead lift, Neck Lift with
liposuction, suture platysmaplasty to
perfect her jaw line, upper and lower eyelid
surgery, and a Hetter chemical peel with
facial resurfacing. This patient was so
happy with her younger, and refreshed
appearance. In particular, she could not
believe the way her neck looked and felt.
She said that her neck had not looked like
this since she was 20!

This 53 year old woman hated the sad face
which greeted her in the mirror each
morning. She was most unhappy with her
jowls, the loss of her jaw line, the
appearance of the unsightly bands in her
neck, the down turning of the corner of her
mouth, and the appearance of her skin. She
also wasn’t happy about her eyelids but,
like many patients, did not want to do
everything at the same time. For her, we did
a Weekend Lift, a neck lift with suture
platysmaplasty, and a Blue Peel (with TCA).
This patient was thrilled with her results.
It took years off of her appearance. Don’t
you agree? She is so happy she can’t wait to
go ahead with eyelid surgery and is planning
for it now.

This is a 58 year old woman who works as a
Registered Nurse. She was quite nervous
about having “elective” surgery because she
had an inherited bleeding disorder. She
wanted “everything” done at once but said
that she was particularly concerned about
the appearance of her neck. After obtaining
medical clearance, she underwent an S Lift
(small incision facial rejuvenation
procedure), endoscopic forehead lift with
upper eyelids, transconjunctival (no visible
incisions, no sutures) lower eyelid surgery,
a neck lift with liposuction, suture
platysmaplasty, and a Hetter chemical peel
to her lower eyelids to treat her fine
wrinkles there, and to the area around her
mouth to get those smokers’ lines. There was
no unusual bleeding before, during or after
her procedure. She was delighted with all of
her results, and was particularly grateful
with the rejuvenation of her neck.

This 45-year-old woman presented because of
sagging eyelids and her sagging neck. She
had a very “high powered” job and it was
almost impossible for her to take off from
work. She had upper and lower eyelid lifts
and a Weekend Lift procedure. Dr. Kass saw
her only one time after surgery and both he
and she thought her results were fabulous.
At just one week, she had a markedly
improved jaw line and neck, and her eyes
appeared much more youthful and free of
lines and wrinkles. At the one week visit,
the patient said that she was absolutely
thrilled with her results and that no
further follow-up appointments were
necessary!

This 40-year-old woman from a cold area of
the country was visiting Florida for just 3
weeks. She said that she found Dr. Kass from
the web and that she “loved” the photos on
his site. She was interested in surgery to
improve her neck and her chin because these
problem areas (which ran in her family) did
not improve at all even with weight loss.
She works hard and wanted to do something
for herself while she was visiting the
Sunshine State. For her, Dr. Kass performed
a Neck Lift with liposuction and suture
platysmaplasty. The patient was thrilled
with the results. She said that she couldn’t
wait until she returns next year when she
will definitely have something else done
(she’s still deciding what that will be). We
will keep you informed!

This 39-year-old woman who never
recovered fully from an episode of Bells’
Palsy requested minimally invasive
procedures to improve facial symmetry. She
comes in regularly to receive Botox, and
sometimes facial fillers such as Restylane,
Juvederm, and Radiesse to her lips and to
the grooves between the nose and the corner
of the lips (nasolabial folds). In these
photos, pay particular attention to the
improvement to the nasolabial folds as a
result of Radiesse implants by Dr. Kass.
Each and every time she comes in, she tells
everyone in the waiting room that Dr. Kass
is a “miracle worker.” She confides that
although her income is “modest,” she would
rather spend her money on improving her
appearance than on trading in her car for a
newer one.

This 40-year-old woman comes regularly for
Botox to relieve the furrows between her
eyebrows. She confided that she was very
unhappy with the pouches she had below her
eyes but did not want surgery. After
discussing her options with her, Dr. Kass
used Juvederm to fill in the under eye
hollows. The result? The patient looks like
she had expensive eyelid surgery without the
down time and or the expense of surgery. She
is thrilled that Dr. Kass suggested this for
her.

This 37-year-old woman was extremely
self-conscious about the scar she received
from a car accident. While Dr. Kass
explained that nothing could take away or
“erase” the scar (as some competitors’ ads
might suggest), he did believe that a filler
such as restylane might make the scar much
less noticeable by filling in the areas of
depression. Both of them were thrilled with
the results of this non-surgical procedure.

Although it seems like just about EVERYONE
is offering Botox injections nowadays, Dr.
Kass began using this drug before it was
even on the market at all! He trained with
doctors who used this for investigational
purposes for neurologic movement disorders
(tics). He used it for this purpose in his
practice long before the first description
ever appeared regarding cosmetic
applications.
Botox is approved for cosmetic use to
treat the furrows between the eyebrows. But Dr. Kass has also found
Botox highly effective at treating horizontal forehead lines as well as
lines caused by Crow’s feet (pictured here). The results are extremely
gratifying both to Dr. Kass and to the patient. This may explain why
Botox is easily the number one cosmetic procedure performed in the US
today! |
