S-Lift, Refreshed Lift, Mini-Facelift
Your face creates an impression to everyone you meet and says who you are and how you feel. But it doesn’t have to reveal your age. Is looking at yourself in the mirror getting you down? Is your outer appearance aging much faster than your inner self? Are the negative effects of age reducing your confidence? If so, you owe it to yourself to find out what a Weekend Facelift can do for you.
Time is an unforgiving force when it comes to aging. Wrinkles, sagging skin, laxity in the jowls and neck begin to appear after years of exposure to gravity, and to the elements, facial expressions, the natural aging process, and lifestyle choices.
Recent studies have shown that looking good has a direct correlation to higher pay. Today, baby boomers from every walk of life are electing to have a lift for both cosmetic and for economic reasons.
A Weekend Lift or S-Lift is a quick lift that can accomplish just about everything facelift surgery can accomplish—but with less surgery, less downtime, and less cost. It is designed to treat early laxity in the cheek and jowl and the neck, which are too advanced to treat by a midface lift (cheek lift) procedure alone.
The Weekend Facelift is an ingenious, minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Compared to a traditional facelift, the Weekend Lift is safer, quicker, with smaller incisions, lower cost and a shorter recovery. In cosmetic surgery, sometimes less is actually more.
The procedure is associated with minimal discomfort and a quick recovery. Because the incision is hidden in the normal skin creases near the ear, patients are able to resume their normal activities within DAYS, not weeks, after surgery. The Weekend Lift is perfect for people with early aging and an active lifestyle who want to look youthful and refreshed.
Some frequently asked questions about the Weekend Facelift:
Will I have pain?
Dr. Kass uses a special type of local anesthesia called tumescent anesthesia with mild sedation. This results in less bruising and a faster recovery. During the procedure, you are relaxed, comfortable, and pain free. You may actually sleep while the Weekend Lift is being done! After this quick lift procedure, there is minimal discomfort and practically no pain whatsoever.
How long is the recovery?
Cosmetic patients want and expect natural-looking results with minimal down time and minimal risk. The Weekend Lift gives patients exactly what they are looking for. It avoids the overly drawn “wind-tunnel” or lifted appearance which is the number one concern of most patients asking about the procedure.
The second most common concern is about the length of the recovery. Perhaps the greatest benefit of the Weekend Lift lies in the speed of your recovery after the procedure. Typically, people are recovered in just three or four days! Amazingly, we have even seen patients who return to work the very next day. And sometimes, if disguised properly, co-workers may not be able to see the incision even on the first postoperative day!
What is the difference between the Weekend Lift and the S-Lift and all of these other “Lifts” I have heard about?
The difference between the Weekend Lift and the S-Lift (Minimal Access Cranial Suspension-Lift or MACS-Lift) is that the S-Lift is really designed to address problems of the jowl in patients aged 40-60 and offers only moderate neck tightening whereas the Weekend Lift is designed to treat both problem areas in people of any age. For many patients, an S-Lift is all that is necessary. But for others, with loose skin, fat, or unsightly bands in the neck, the Weekend Lift is the preferred procedure. At the time of your consultation, Dr. Kass will be happy to address which procedure would be best for you.
The difference between the Weekend Lift and the other “Lifts” you may have heard about is that the Weekend Lift has been uniquely designed by Dr. Kass, who has over three decades of clinical practice and who has treated thousands of satisfied patients. His technique, developed and perfected over time, minimizes the incision but maximizes the outcome. The results are fabulous, with minimal discomfort and extremely rapid recovery.
Of course, we are aware of the other “Lifts” which are advertised on the radio, “infomercials” and on TV. These “Lifts” use trademarked names, and are performed by a host of surgeons, of varying abilities and experience, but they have lots of marketing muscle behind them. It is truly impossible for the patient to really know what he or she is getting when they go for one of these trademarked “Lifts.” The price may sometimes be cheaper than what we can offer, but the value and the quality may be lacking. In some instances, attorney generals have actually brought lawsuits against well known cosmetic practices that offer these trademarked “Lifts” because of untrue claims and “testimonials” on the internet as well as deceptive marketing practices.
With our S-Lift, and with our signature Weekend Lift, we strive to be competitive in price with both the commercial, trademarked “Lifts,” as well as with other conscientious surgeons. We understand that price is a very important factor in a patient’s decision making process. But we firmly believe in the value and the quality of our S and our Weekend Lifts. Furthermore, we firmly believe that the compassion, patience, and experience that we offer our patients, is without equal anywhere. Why not make an appointment and judge for yourself?
What will I look Like?
To get an idea of what you will look like after a Weekend Lift, find a picture of yourself from 10 or 15 years ago. This is what the Weekend Lift can do for you. It restores the youthful lines and contours of the face and neck by removing excess skin and tightening the underlying facial layers. The Weekend Lift will not make you look like a different person entirely. But it will make you look younger, more refreshed, rested and healthy.
The Weekend Lift is a quick lift procedure which produces fantastic results with much less recovery time and lower costs than other similar procedures. The Weekend Lift provides years of improvement, and the boost it provides in your self-confidence may improve your lifestyle and even be correlated with higher pay.
