Question: I am 48 years old, and recently had mini facelift, but I’d like more skin tightening. What would you suggest?
Hello! I had a mini facelift earlier this year that lifted muscles and skin. I would now like to just pull the skin back and up to lose my nasolabial lines, and also to tighten my neck. I for sure do not want anything deep or invasive, but I’d rather have tightening than just injectables. Any thoughts?
Answer: It is not terribly uncommon to be disappointed with the results of a mini face lift. This procedure is excellent for the right patients, but if used in the wrong patients, the results are bound to disappoint. What does your doctor say about your disappointment? Certainly, your options at this stage would be to consider skin resurfacing, improving facial volume with fat or fillers, or full face lifting. Good luck!
